Here's a quick time-lapse video of the final day of penciling in Salem's body. I used the blue and pink pencil again to provide shine and form to Salem's fur as it conforms to the angles and curves of his body. So loving his sheen!
I just dropped this artwork off at the print shop and will be picking up some very nice prints to give away at the upcoming POP Cats Show in Austin, on Texas May 4th and 5th. If you're just tuning into my progress on Salem for the first time, he's a character from both Sabrina the Teenage Witch (from the 90s) and the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (the new Netflix series). Both are based on a spinoff of the Archie comics. In the comic and the tv series, Salem, who is a warlock cursed to live eternity in the form of a cat, is Sabrina's familiar.
